Bank Celebrates Community with $5,000 in Donations

ROGERS, Ark., Aug. 15, 2006 - United Bank is celebrating its grand opening of its new 6,200 square-foot branch at 3333 Walnut Street, at the corner of 34th and Walnut Streets. In concert with its grand opening activities, the company announced today that it plans to donate $5,000 to two organizations. United Bank will give $2,500 to the St. Mary's Hospital capital campaign and $2,500 to the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce at two separate events. The opening of the Rogers facility will mark the fourth branch location for United Bank, which also has two other locations in Springdale and an additional office in Fayetteville.

"We're very excited to be in Rogers offering our services," said Jeff Lynch, United Bank president and CEO. "Our presence will allow us to even serve our growing customer base in Rogers. We look forward to delivering the same genuine service that our personal banking and commercial customers, as well as our partnering charitable organizations have grown to appreciate."

The new full-service location officially opened July 24 and will feature three drive-through lanes and one ATM. This location will be United Bank's newest branch and will be staffed with 8 people including a mortgage officer, commercial lending and customer service representatives. Customers and members of the community will have year-round access to a community room that can be used after-hours.



Customers can enjoy several grand opening activities the week of Aug. 21 through Aug. 26, 2006. Activities will include prize giveaways, a ribbon cutting where chicken teriyaki will be served, green light specials offered through out the week and a kid's day on Saturday Aug. 26.



Grand opening activities at the Rogers branch include:

Wednesday, Aug. 16: V.I.P. reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and a $2,500 check presentation to St. Mary's Hospital
Monday, Aug. 21, 10 a.m.: ribbon cutting ceremony and $2,500 check presentation to the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce with Teriyaki Chicken served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursday and Friday Aug. 24 through Aug. 25: Green Light Specials will be offered every hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Kid's Day. Children enjoy hot dogs, a bounce house and a chance to register to win a boys and girls bicycle. The Rogers Police Department will be offering fingerprinting for child identification kits.
United Bank has three other locations in the region:

670 E. Joyce, Fayetteville (next to Circuit City near the mall);
2600 S. Thompson, Springdale, the bank's main office;
607 West Emma, Springdale


Currently the bank employs approximately 80 employees.

United Bank Announces Officer Promotions

Springdale - Jeff Lynch, President and CEO of United Bank, announced that Tony Kachenchai has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. He will oversee all lending functions of the bank, excluding secondary market lending. Mr. Kachenchai has been with the bank for five years.
Commenting on the promotion, Lynch said, "Tony has exhibited tremendous capability as a commercial lender and his value to the bank continues to grow. His overall outstanding performance merits this promotion."

Mr. Kachenchai is an honors graduate of the University of Arkansas, and holds a Certificate from the American Banker's Association National Commercial Lending School. Additionally, he is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and was awarded the Betty Clark Banking and Margaret F. Schamer Scholarships.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Celebrates New Rogers Branch

ROGERS, Ark., Oct. 6, 2005 -- Paying tribute to one of the construction industry's most popular customs, United Bank today held a ground-breaking ceremony to celebrate the start of a new bank branch in Rogers. The festivities took place on the construction site of the new 6,200 square foot branch at 3333 Walnut Street, at the corner of 34th and Walnut.

Community leaders including Mayor Steve Womack and Raymond Burns of the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce were present and participated in the event alongside United Bank officials. "We're very excited to get construction underway here in Rogers," said Jeff Lynch, United Bank president and CEO. "Our presence here will allow us to closely serve the financial needs of our growing customer base in Rogers. We look forward to delivering the same genuine service that our personal banking and commercial customers, as well as our partnering charitable organizations have grown to appreciate."

Expected to be complete June of 2006, the Rogers location will be a full-service banking branch housing three drive-thru lanes and 1 ATM. This location will be United Bank's newest branch and will be staffed with 10 people including mortgage officers, commercial lending and customer service representatives. The branch will also feature a community meeting room with a separate entrance that will be available after hours for use by community and non-profit organizations.
